Sara thanks for all this information. In Australia most of our hairdressing students are apprentices. They work in a salon for four days and a week and go to College for one day. Their course lasts four years. Not many students do hairdressing in secondary school in Australia.

oh four years it is quite a long time, but it's actually four years in Sweden as well. This is because the students will take the student after three years but they have to work between 1500 hours - 3000 hours Declarations in a salon until it can be a his journeyman's certificate. Journeyman letter is a test to be two full days with the judge to review 13 different elements in hair cuts, colors, uppsätningar oh so forth. You have to be approved at all times otherwise you have to do if the one that you do not pass on after about 6 months. Journeyman letter raises the wage by 7-7 thousand dollars a month while giving the salon a higher status.
