Burgårdens students compete successfully.

The teachers are very involved in competitive activities at school
and this is reflected in both the preparation and student achievement.
Here we see a teacher work with the final preparations for the Swedish championship this year.
The competition was held on school premises.

  1. Our students enter competitions as well. It really seems to motivate and engage the students in real life activities. How did you go about organising this particular competition? Did the students help?

  2. The students who did not compete in this event at the competition day, they cleaned away, picked doll heads in assessments and so on. I felt that many of them thought it was uninteresting, unfortunately, so i think the school has a responsibility to make them more active in other roles.School officials together with the teachers had clear and distinct roles in the arrangement which led to everything worked perfectly. But this made probably also the students who did not competed felt redundant.
