When we see that the student can handle the traditional way to do highlights with folie, we continue to show them a similar way with a special borad as support. To make it more stable, and to be able to get closer to the scalp.

It is interesting to see that you gradually teach the students more complex ways of doing highlights. In Australia we use a similar method of teaching about foils and highlights. Do you find this method of teaching them is effective?
ReplyDeleteyes absolutely.I teach all students the basis, and if I see that some of them handle it well, then I show them different options and ways of applying highlights.
