This is the area where the student learnt to wash customers' hair. She learnt this skill in the first year of her apprenticeship and practiced on a lot of customers. Her workplace supervisor gave her lots of fine instructions and she also learnt theory at her College. The chairs are very comfortable and they massage the customer as they sit and have their hair washed.
It looks nice to get your hair washed there, find your student that it is an inspiring environment to be in?

The students really enjoys working in the salon and learning at the same time.It gives her the chance to try new techniques and her supervisor is a friendly and supportive person. She has lots of skills and she teaches the student these skills very patiently.
ReplyDeleteIt is not usual to have massage chairs in salons. I love sitting in the chair and having my hair washed. Do you have these chairs in salons in Sweden?

ReplyDeleteI had seats like that in the salon where I worked as a hairdresser a few years ago, but after a while the hairdressers started to complaine about that they had back pain. because you have to stand on the side. =(
well it seems very nice and luxury, I would love to work around that area =)
