The apprentice had to learn about all the chemicals that are used in hairdressing. Here are just a few of them. She learnt a lot about this at her College where the different chemical compositions of the dyes and treatments were explained. This learning took over 2 years as there is a lot to learn. Her workplace supervisor guided her in the wrokplace and gave her lots of opportunities to observe and practice.
