The result of the perm. Now the student is doing the last finish for the client. After a perm you shall not blow dry the hair straight, because you destroy the curls. So the student blow dry the hair with a diffuser to make it curly. The client was very happy over her hair.

  1. The hair does look good. How did you teach your student to do this blow drying correctly. In Australia most hairdressing students are apprentices who work in a salon for four days each week and go to College for one day. They learn a lot of theory at the College. How do you teach your students the theory?

  2. Before the students are allowed to work on a client, they learn theory. The teacher explain how to do, then shows on a model or a manecin. The students also get a hairdressing book that shows different types of styling methods. After learning theory, the students practise on manecins and after that models. When they can handle it, they are allowed to style clients.

    1. If the clients are not satisfied, they are allowed to come back so the students can fix the problem. And of corse we fix it for free.
