A perm process works in steps with different liquids. This picture shows some liquids that is using for perm. You are suppose to use different liquids depending on what quality the clients have on her hair.
We also have a lot of chemicals that we use in hairdressing. We often find it is difficult to teach the students how to use each of these. Do you find this?
Yes I also think it is difficult to teach them about the chemicals. Because I do not have much chemistry kvowledge. I can always show them how to use a product, but when a student ask me questions about how the products works, I can only give them basic answer.
How do you do when students ask how dangerous som chemical is or the risk of canser later? Do you invite expert teachers to inform? What does the course plan say about how much of this " miljö-aspekt" must be in the education?
