And the last one...This coat the students got their inspiration from a convent.

Another dress that was inspired by this
     extreme design house.

Students were given a creation task with buildings as a source of inspiration
and here are one of the results.

This dress was inspired by the tower in Malmö, the Turning Torso.

Here is one of the students constructed a pattern of a pair of pants with here own measure. Now the student will sew up a test pants an see if it fits or if she´ll need to make any changes. It´s important to put the pattern straight and follow the "pattern wire" and then draw accurately.

This is a ordinary classroom where the students make their designs
                         and then sew them.

Fashion show in Copenhagen

During my first week we went on a fashion show in Denmark.
It was really nice to see next years fashion. We started early in the
                          morning by bus to Copenhagen.

This is the location of the Textil-Design program, a specialization of the Handicraft program in upper secondary education. The program is three years long and most students start when they are 16 years old, then they´ll have an exam. Some will work as purchasing assistant, designassistant or some will go on to futher education like University.
